I think the coolest part of the picture is that you can see the camera in the marble... It's real easy to see in the bigger version of the picture. Kudos to the photographer for capturing a different view of himself as well.
I always noticed their beauty. As a kid, I used to like them over what other little boys played with, lie action figures and toy cars, I liked my marbles to the point where 'd get soo depressed if one got chipped or cracked, since its beauty would be tainted.
I always loved spinning them on the desk, and watching their patterns change
I liked bouncy-balls as well, about the same as marbles, as some of those had some very intricate patterns in them, I loved the ones that instead of being just colurful on the outside, were rather clear with 3D swirls of colour running at different depths inside, they looked wicked and almost like rubber versions of marbles themselves
I treasured this one I had that was made to look like the Earth complete with an inner layer with the continents and seas, and a clear outer layer representing an atmosphere whic had streaks of what clouds running hrough it, that cheap 5 dollar ball was one of my all-time favourite toys I owned
*Sigh* you suck you know that?
90's kids play with marbles duh! hence the loving being a 90's kid. if you were a noughties kid you wouldn't PLAY with marbles now would you? HOW WOULD YOU FEEL THEN?! HUH? HUH?!
lol well doesn't that say a little about your character and personality...'as a child i never played with my marbles because i didn't want to lose any, so i just collected them.' hmmm.....sounds like someone isn't much of a risktaker.
